Toi Māori Gallery is pleased to be hosting Hohua Thompson’s first solo exhibition ‘Kirihou’

Hohua is an artist based in Auckland. He is currently completing his Bachelor of Fine Arts at Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design. In his practice, Hohua uses installation as well as traditional Māori practices such as Whakairo, Tukutuku & Raranga to explore Decolonising Methodologies & the Cultural Hybridity, or Third Space, occupied by Māori in today’s society.
