LADY ROSE GOULD-LARDELLI

Lady Rose Lardelli is an astute community leader and arts manager who brings her business acumen to various Māori art and cultural groups.
Working together with her husband, Sir Derek Lardelli, Rose is a founding trustee of Te Uhi ā Mataora and principal coordinator for their activities within Aotearoa and abroad. Rose is also a Director of Toi Māori Market Limited, one of the three companies comprising the Toi Māori Aotearoa Group, and the parent organisation for a large-scale biennial showcase of Māori art.
Trained as a teacher, Rose is a strong advocate for continuing education with extensive governance experience in primary, secondary and adult education institutions, social services and community funding organisations in Tairāwhiti.
As an arts manager, Rose has contributed to the success of Te Kapa Haka o Whāngārā Mai Tawhiti under the leadership of Derek since 1995 and facilitated numerous Māori art and cultural projects in Aotearoa and abroad, achieving a Master of Arts Management (first class honours) from Whitecliff College of Arts and Design in 2012.
